Those who are 16+ and wishing to pursue a career in the health and fitness sector as gym-based fitness instructors.
Those who prefer to set their own pace of learning.
The L2 Certificate in Gym Instructing is also a prerequisite (entry requirement) for those hoping to progress on to the L3 Diploma in Personal Training.

Assessment Methods:
Unit 1: Principles of anatomy, physiology and fitness is externally assessed via a multiple choice, online exam. All other units are assessed via a mixture of worksheets and practical simulations & observations. As this course is online only, you will be expected to record your practical sessions and send them in for assessment.
