Following the Western approved anatomy and physiology approach which differs from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Medical Acupuncture, or more aptly coined ‘Dry Needling’ aims to help reduce areas of pain and discomfort.
Spinal Manipulation
This technique is a therapeutic procedure applied to the patient’s spine with an aim to restore ‘normal’ movement. The manipulation involves taking a joint past its normal end range of motion, but not past its anatomical end range of motion.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue is connective tissue that has not hardened into bone and cartilage; it includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and sheathes of other soft tissues).
